Our program is designed to teach skiing skills and improve individual skiing through individual/group instruction and the use of friendly competition. Lifetime skiing skills and fun take precedence over winning.

I began my racing career right here at Cascade Mountain many, many years ago. As a teenager I spent several years running the USSA circuit until an injury ended my racing career in high school. The following season I came back to Cascade Mountain and began my coaching career. After many years back on the USSA circuit as a coach, I came back to Cascade Mountain when my kids became interested in ski racing in 2016. I have been a USSA certified coach for over 25 years and currently hold a level 200 certification. As your Head Coach, I want to share my love of skiing and racing with our athletes, making it a lifelong adventure for them, like it has been for me.

I have been part of Cascade Ski Team since 2017 when one of my sons joined the team as a U10. Our family was hooked on ski racing and we love to spend winter on the snow with an incredible ski family. I am proud to lead the Cascade Ski Team Board, helping to maintain and grow our award-winning team. I hope to continue our team’s commitment to excellence and sense of community among racers and their families.
